Custom Excel Templates built for how your business actually works
A custom Excel template is a working file shaped around your own process — your fields, your calculations, your terminology — rather than a generic download you have to bend to fit. It is built so the people using it cannot easily break the parts that matter.
Why downloaded templates rarely survive
- A free template nearly fits, so it gets edited — and six months later it is a unique file nobody fully understands.
- Everyone keeps their own copy. Each has slightly different formulas, and all of them are the master.
- One mistyped cell silently changes a total, because nothing in the file prevents it.
- The person who built it has left, the sheet is protected, and nobody has the password.
What a properly built template does
Separates input from calculation
Clear places to type, formulas protected from accidental edits, and no hidden workings three columns past the visible area.
Refuses bad data at entry
Validation on the fields that matter, so a wrong date format or an impossible quantity is caught at the point of typing rather than at the point of reporting.
Holds up to being used
Adding a row, inserting a line item or copying last month's file does not quietly break the totals.
Explains itself
Notes where the logic is non-obvious, so the file still makes sense to whoever inherits it.

Common questions
Why pay for a template when free ones exist?
If a free template fits your process, use it — we would rather say that than sell you something you do not need. Custom work earns its cost when your process has specifics a generic file cannot express: your pricing rules, your approval steps, your terminology, your reporting requirements.
Will I be able to change it later?
Yes. Files are delivered unlocked and documented. Protection is applied to stop accidental edits, not to stop you working on your own file, and you get whatever is needed to remove it.
Can you rebuild a file we already use?
Often that is the better starting point, because the existing file encodes years of decisions. We work through what it does, confirm which behaviours are deliberate, and rebuild on a structure that will not collapse the next time someone inserts a row.
Do these work in Google Sheets?
Simple templates usually convert. Anything using VBA, Power Query or the Excel data model does not, because those features have no Google Sheets equivalent. Tell us up front if Sheets compatibility is a requirement and we will build within those limits.
What if several people need to use it at once?
That changes the design, so it is worth raising at the start. Shared use points towards a structure with a single data store rather than copies of one file circulating by email.
